Pomegranate Fruit
The pomegranate (Punica Granatum) is a special fruit originated from Iran and northern India from the family of Lythraceae, and it has been cultivated since ancient times. The typical pomegranate tree is 5 to 10 meters tall. While diameter of the fruit is 5-8 centimeters, it carries angular and hard seeds with the outer layer of covered by a thin layer or juicy, red, pink or yellowish-white, acid pulp.
